Condominium Co-op Complex

Having suffered numerous burglaries to the cash collection machines in their laundry rooms this co-op association decided they needed to record the area in the hopes of identifying the individual(s) involved. The board wanted the management office to house the recording server, however the laundry rooms were separate from the office, over 300 feet away in separate directions and the complex has underground wiring.

Digital Provisions engineered and installed separate point to point wireless TCP/IP network radios eliminating the expense and inconvenience of trenching additional underground cabling. These radios are connected outside to a local network in each laundry room supporting an Axis megapixel network camera and other discreet security components. In the center of the complex at the main office a digital video server running Axis Camera Station records 24/7 and provides live and recorded remote video access to the management when they are off site.

Within a few days of Digital Provisions installing the system one of the laundry rooms was hit again. The IP Surveillance System performed flawlessly capturing the entire event even after the burglar cut the main power to the building. The next day the video was given to local law enforcement. When the detective saw the footage he noted how he had never seen such clarity in a surveillance tape. Law enforcement was able to receive a clear image of the perpetrator's face and the laundry rooms have been free from break ins ever since.

Shelter Island Yacht Club

As a perk to members the club wanted the ability to view their mooring field and dock via the internet. After contacting Digital Provisions it was decided that a pan tilt zoom IP camera would be the best solution. The Axis 213PTZ was chosen for it's exceptional optical zoom capability and advanced networking features. Mounted in an outdoor enclosure high upon their clubhouse the camera allows members to keep an eye on their boats while not on the island. Any member can sign into a secure web site and control the camera remotely from a simple web browser interface. Members enjoy the new camera so much they have nicknamed it the "fun cam".
